How to Apply
Applications to study at IHTTI may be made via the online application form
Step 1. Application Form
Complete the IHTTI application form and submit it either online or via mail, together with the documents indicated.
Note: All documents must be officially stamped and translated to English.
- High school diploma or transcript of your previous education
- TOEFL, IELTS, Oxford Online Placement Test or Equivalent English test results
- Copy of Passport
- Curriculum Vitae
- 4 passport size photos (3x4cm)
- Work reference letters (if available)
- Motivation letter
Note: Failure to provide the above details in full will delay the confirmation of applications.
Step 2. Provisional Acceptance
If your application is successful and the requested programme is still available we will send you a Provisional Acceptance within one week.
You will need to pay the deposit fee within 4 weeks and if desired, the cancellation insurance.
- Deposit fee: CHF 3’000.-
- Cancellation insurance: CHF 300.-
For further information regarding cancellation insurance pleased refer to the conditions.
If the deposit is not paid within the four weeks the programme place may no longer be guaranteed.
If you receive a Provisional Acceptance letter 6 weeks or less before the programme start date, full fees should be paid immediately.
Note: Any special room requests (single, deluxe or superior deluxe) can only be confirmed once full payment is received.
Step 3. Confirmation & Visa
The Confirmation Letter will be sent to you as soon as we have received the deposit fee payment. This document is needed to apply for your study entry visa to Switzerland.
For many non-European countries it is necessary for the student to apply for a student entry visa to Switzerland. This procedure may take up to 12 weeks.
The balance of your school fees must reach the school’s account no later than 6 weeks before the commencement date. IHTTI does not guarantee the programme place if full payment is not received on time.
